My work explores the space between our inner and outer worlds.

I am curious about what lies beneath the surface, in ourselves and in the world around us. I tend to observe, question and analyse, while also trusting feeling and intuition. Art is where those ways of seeing come together.

Born and raised in the Netherlands as the daughter of Turkish immigrants, I grew up between cultures and perspectives. That experience has shaped my curiosity about identity, belonging and the spaces in between.

My work can begin with something I feel, something I notice, or simply something that makes me stop and look again. Through painting and digital art, I follow that curiosity without deciding too quickly where it should lead.

Art gives form to things I don't yet have words for, and sometimes reveals connections I hadn't seen before.

The work starts with my curiosity, but it leaves room for yours. To look beyond what is immediately visible, make your own connections, and perhaps see something differently, in the work, in yourself, or in the world around you.
